CLASSES FOR MOTHERS

Mama classes and workshops for future and young mothers are a bridge between my two distinct professions of Movement Therapist and Doula, nourished by my true desire to provide support to mothers.

The sessions are based on Pilates, Yoga, dance, breathing, visualization, vocalization, free movement and body awareness to enable a healthy pregnancy, a powerful birth and an easier recovery. They place a special focus on the pelvic floor of great importance during pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum.

They also provide space for sharing and bonding between mothers, based on the wisdom that it takes a village to raise a child.

CALMA MAMA CLASSES & WORKSHOPS

The Pre and Post Natal classes take place either at Calma Studio or at Belharra Clinic in Bayonne.

PRE & POST NATAL PILATES CLASSES

Pilates classes designed for future or new mothers with babies (pre-crawlers/pre-walkers). Gentle but effective classes with exercises that aim to improve mobility, strength and flexibility coupled with awareness of breath and pelvic floor.

EMPOWERED BIRTH WORKSHOP

This prenatal workshop goes beyond classic exercises and uses visualization, vocalization, exploration of free movements, dance and the mouth/throat – perineum connection to guide future mothers towards the experience of birth in awareness and trust. 

One Thursday per month 14h-16h Belharra Clinic, Bayonne  

DANCE BABY DANCE WORKSHOP

A delicious class for new Mamas and their babies where some gentle exercise is followed by baby stimulation via Shantala massage mobilisation movements and finally culminates in a guided and free dance with babies (ideally in baby carriers) and fellow Mamas.
